Applications and selection

The document gives activity-unit dosing for a production milk volume, not a household sachet-to-milk instruction. Ask for the intended use instructions before ordering.

Reference inoculation and handling
The supplied recommendation is 100–200 U per 1,000 L of fermented-milk base. Confirm the activity-unit definition, batch size and grade-specific instructions with the supplier. Do not convert U into grams, CFU or a household dose without product-specific information.
The documents describe adding the culture to pasteurized product and mixing gently for 15–30 minutes while avoiding air incorporation. Use the full opened sachet at one time and follow the supplier’s hygiene and handling instructions. Confirm the culture addition temperature for your process.
Packaging, frozen storage and transport
Supplied pack size: 200 U per pack in a composite aluminum-foil sachet. Store at −18°C or below; the stated shelf life is 18 months under the specified storage conditions. Arrange clean cold-chain transport, protect sachets from crushing, sunlight and rain, and keep them separate from toxic or contaminated goods.
Yogurt culture purchasing questions
Does this culture have a documented probiotic health effect?
This page describes a yogurt fermentation starter. Organism names alone do not establish a strain-specific probiotic health benefit.
Can a 200 U pack be divided into household doses?
The supplied instructions call for using the opened pack at one time. Request the correct packaging and use instructions for the intended household or production batch; this page does not prescribe home subdivision.
Which documents should I request?
Request the current model specification, activity-unit definition, composition and allergen or carrier information, handling instructions and available batch analysis documents. The product specification is not a batch COA.
