Procurement guidance

Compare nutrient analysis, not abbreviation alone

Fertilizer salt procurement should confirm the chemical grade, declared nutrient content, solubility, moisture, insolubles, impurity limits and particle-size or form requirements.

MAP, DAP and potassium phosphates can be supplied to different specifications. An abbreviation does not establish nutrient analysis, suitability for a particular fertilizer system or destination-market registration.

Important: Compatibility, crop use, nutrient rate and local fertilizer registration must be assessed separately. This page does not provide agronomic recommendations.
